Jeffrey S. Leiken, MA “The Counselor’s Counselor” is a Professional Trainer and Educator with 16 years of youth related experience. He began working with kids as a Summer Camp Counselor in 1984, and now travels internationally sharing his knowledge, skill and expertise with members of the helping professions. He teaches in the Graduate School of Education at the University of San Francisco, and has a successful Professional Mentoring and Counseling Private Practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has led training’s with thousands of Youth work professionals, from beginning Counselors, to teachers to veteran Administrators. He has presented at many major conferences for the American Camping Association and the After School Care industry.
Jeffrey holds a Masters Degree in Educational Counseling, a Pupil Personnel Credential (School Counseling) issued by the State of California and has extensive training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), including certification as an NLP Practitioner, NLP as Brief Therapy and as a facilitator of the MythoSelf™ model.
